Tonight the Florida Marlins were officially debuted as the Miami Marlins. The unveiling was held at the new Marlins Ballpark in Miami and streamed online on the MLB website. During the presentation team owner Jeffrey Loria introduced the new Miami Marlins Logo with what he described as having colors symbolic of Miami. Red for the Miami sky, Orange for the citrus industry, Yellow for the Miami Sunshine. Following the unveiling of the logo, the players came out to model the new uniforms which were white, black, grey and an alternate orange jersey. The logo was leaked sometime back with many fans disapproving. I myself would say I was not a fan of the new logo. I guess it will take some time to get used to it. However the logo is not that bad when you have it on the clothing. Lets see what happens. Following the clothing presentation, Miami’s own Pitbul held a performance for those in attendance. All they were missing was a orange carpet….Mr. Ross?
